Design and Drafting
At Abstract Granny Flats, we combine our exceptional experience in residential design and drafting to produce innovative granny flats that meet all regulatory codes and standards. We will provide all documentation required for approvals and constructions, including Site Plans, Survey Plans, Floor Plans, Elevations, Sections, Details, Structural & Hydraulic Designs, 2D Drafting, and 3D Modelling.
Complying Developments (CDC)
At Abstract Granny Flats, we specialize in preparing and lodging Complying Development Certificate (CDC) applications. The CDC process is the preferred method of design as it can save clients significant amount of time and money. As the design can assessed by a Private Certifier (PCA) without any input from the local council, approvals can be issued in as little as 20days once all of the PCA criteria have been fulfilled.
Development Application (DA)
At Abstract Granny Flats, we are also seasoned with the complex process of preparing, lodging and managing a Development Application (DA). A DA is more thorough and detailed design and approval process that is submitted directly to council for approval. It can be time consuming and expensive when compared to a CDC, but it is required in some situations if the criteria for CDC are not fulfilled.
